I LOVE EBAY

I love ebay – for both buying and selling things. Sometimes I feel guilty when I auction an item off and it sells for more than I would pay for it, but that’s just the way things go. But then there are other times when an item sells for less than it should, so I guess it all balances out.

Today, I was looking for a copy of the movie, “The Prize Winner of Defiance Ohio.” I came upon this creepy picture with a copy up for auction.

I don’t know about you, but there is nothing appealing about this picture that would cause me to have the desire to purchase it.

Tip: If you want to sell an item on ebay successfully, take a good picture of the item “by itself” (less any glares caused by the flash and blurriness – blurry pictures are annoying). Also, be sure to use spell checker if you are not a good speller. It is so annoying to see someone selling something and they have no idea how to spell basic English words.

I’ve always wanted to sell things on Ebay. Though when I did try, I was a bit put off by having to pay a fee right up front and then to find out that Ebay retains a portion of the profit! Maybe there’s a way around that? I don’t know, but I hear people can make some good money on Ebay! For now I’ll stick with Craigslist. 🙂

That is so weird!! Why would anyone put a picture of the movie like that. Especially when you could just copy one off Amazon.com or something, that is so strange.
