It’s Potty Time!

I had a friend who asked for advice on what would help her to potty train her son. I quickly mentioned “Elmo’s Potty Time” dvd and a padded potty seat.

This morning, my almost 2-3/4 year old son told me he wanted to watch Elmo’s Potty Time. I put the dvd in for him. I was talking on the phone with my sister while he was watching the show and found myself swaying to the music. Then I realized what they were singing about. I know it works, but I don’t care how many times I watch it, there is just something weird about Elmo singing about pee and poop, wee wee and woo woo.

Now the challenge will be to get him to first learn to go in the potty sitting down instead of standing up like his brother and dad – lol.
