Christmas Comes Earlier Every Year

Just a random thought for everyone out there. It’s September – Halloween hasn’t come yet, neither has Thanksgiving nor Christmas.

However, if you go to Costco or other big box stores, such as Target and Wal-Mart, they already have Christmas decorations and other merchandise for sale.

Don’t get me wrong, my boys love to see the ornaments, trees, lights, and blow-up decorations at the stores, but in September?

Do people really start buying Christmas items this early? Are stores getting a little too carried away with making money on a holiday that is 3 months away?

Just a thought!

I noticed this also while I was out shopping today. So weird, I was like, it’s not even Halloween yet!

I start buying this early. Not a full blown Christmas shopping trip, but little things here and there. But I hate that stores decorate so early because if my kids start making their lists in September… they just keep getting longer and longer by December.
