Kids Help Break the Silence

Have you noticed that since having kids, it is much easier to talk to strangers – whether it’s at the grocery store, the park, church, or walking around the neighborhood?

I mean, are my kids cute or what? I would have an easy time commenting on how cute they are, since they are mine. I mean, I ask other people how old their child is or what their child’s name is? It’s just easier to talk to other people when you have your kids with you (or when you are pregnant).

Often times, people see the 3 boys and say, “Wow, you have your hands full!” I tell them they are right! It is a big job but I love them tons – even when they spill the glass of milk or dump the laundry basket over or unroll the roll of paper towels or pull the books off the shelf. It never ceases to amaze me how much they watch us and mimic us and try to learn as much as they can.

I am so thankful to be a mommy to 3 wonderful boys and to have a husband that works hard for our family so that I can be a full-time stay at home mom.

I completely agree! It makes for a nice life to have people be friendly especially when you receive complements on your children! I can also relate on what a blessing it is to have such an awesome husband that I’m able to stay home with my amazing daughter!
