A Must-Have for Nursing Mothers

I have 3 boys and I just discovered this handy tool to use when nursing my babes.

It’s called a Hooter Hider. I looked online to purchase one and they range in price from about $35 to $40, depending on patterns, colors, and vendors. You can buy one through Bebe au Lait or you can look online and find a pattern to make one. You might also be able to find one on ebay.com or craigslist.com (many people swear by this website, me included).

I’m not very good at sewing (it’s a future goal of mine to learn), so my stepmom made me 2 of them – between the 2 of them, it cost her less than the price of buying just one. She also sewed a pocket on the underside of each one. The pocket is supposed to be handy to store a burp cloth (kind of like a rag with a cute pattern on it).

It is super cute! I can nurse Sam everywhere and not worry about the blanket falling off or being pulled off! I can even sit in church and nurse him, without bothering anybody!

It is definitely a must-have item for any new mother or mother who hasn’t had one before!
